I know that tomorrow by noon, I will be glad that I have just finished the 30+ mile bike race that I’ve looked forward to for a year.  Apple cider donuts served at each stop, and the company of hundreds of other riders through the fall countryside make it a high point of my cycling year.

However, with a forecast of rain and 40s, I’m not looking forward to the actual race.
